Hi, I'm Sergey Pavlishin. I made PicFrom myself.

It started with my wife. She wanted her photos out of iCloud, years of them, sitting as normal files on a drive we own, not locked inside an app or stuck behind a subscription. I went looking for something that would just do that, with no account and nothing uploaded anywhere, and couldn't find it. So I wrote it for her.

It worked. Her whole library copied over: originals, Live Photos, videos, all of it, sorted into folders by date and ready to back up any way she wanted. And I figured she probably isn't the only one who feels uneasy about a whole life of photos sitting somewhere just out of reach.

So I cleaned it up and put it out for everyone. It's the same app I run on my own family's photos. No company, no investors, just me, wanting my family's memories to really belong to us. Yours should belong to you too.
